Due to the personal nature of wigs and hairpieces we cannot offer refunds. If an item is recieved defective please contact our customer service department within 3 days of receipt of your order at 888-661-8884 or sales@maxwigs.com. If an item is returned for reasons other than a manufacturer defect the item can be sent back at customers expense. Unopened and unworn pieces that are returned will incur a 40% restocking fee.

If you are not happy with the color of your new item you are eligible for a one time like for like color exchange. Please contact our customer service department within 5 days of receipt for complete details and for a Color Exchange Guidelines request-Return Authorization Request.

We want you to be happy with your shopping experience with us.  If you are not happy with your color selection we allow a one time like for like color exchange. In order to exchange the item(s) for a different color just follow these 3 easy steps:

1. Call our Customer Support Staff at 888-661-8884 or email us at sales@maxwigs.com within 5 calendar days from receipt of your order to start the color exchange process. We will issue you an RA# (Return Authorization Number). Please write the RA# prominently on the outside of the package and include your original invoice in the package so we may expedite the process. Please be sure to include all the items original packaging. The unwanted item(s) must be received by our exchange department within 14 calendar days. For your records, please choose a shipping method that allows for delivery confirmation.

2. Please place a new order for the same style of the original order in the new desired color. You can do this throughor website or by calling our Customer Support Staff at 888-661-8884 (available M-F 8-5 PST). Please note a $25 order minimum does apply to all orders including color exchange replacement orders.

3. Upon receipt of the unwanted item(s) and receipt of your new order has been confirmed, we will credit your account for the original order minus shipping charges.

Please note the replacement order must be the identical style but, different color to qualify for a color exchange. You are eligible for a color exchange one time, on one order only. You may not return more than three items. A 20% restocking fee will be applied when more than two items are returned for exchange. Items returned for exchange must be in new, factory condition. With no signs of brushing, washing, altering and free from hair products or environmental smells. Items that are received that are not in factory condition are not accepted. If an item is returned for exchange that falls outside of our guidelines it will be sent back at owner’s expense.
